Sonia and Malcolm are a beautiful couple who wanted to incorporate three different styles of artwork into their flat lay invitations. For them it wasn't about structure but rather the artwork. They worked their budget to create three unique designs vs spending money on a structure with a sleeve or pocket.
For the sangeet, we played off their Moroccan theme by using intricate hand-drawn lamps with a floral motif based on Islamic art styles.
For the ceremony, a simple paisley with block art styles to bring in traditional aspects of the Hindu ceremony.
For the reception - we wanted to keep it very high-end and chic. We created faux-foil rose outlines and kept things, black and white - classic Hollywood style.
And last but not least for all three - we used the same fonts. By keeping this consistent it helped all three invites have a cohesive feel. We also used the same shimmer card stock on all three. With the art ranging the papers textured changed with the ink bring more and more sparkle as the events went by - so the reception had the most effect!
Needless to say, Sonia and Malcolm feel in love with their invites and brought us on for Day of Stationery for all three events.
What we created:
- Invitation Suite
- Welcome Posters (for all events)
- Wedding Ceremony Programs
- Reception Menu cards
- Reception Table Numbers
